Back in mid-December I wrote about the options that sat on my table for next steps in my professional life. Among several options, I had the opportunity to start a new business with a friend. We’ve decided to pull the trigger on that idea.
Say Hello to Kick Action Studios
Tony and I make an excellent team. His experience and expertise in digital marketing and community-building perfectly complement my experience in digital product/project management. When we began to discuss what a partnership might look like, we quickly settled on the concept of a digital consultancy; helping individuals and teams launch and grow great digital products.
Kick Action Studios, as a company, will be focusing on three areas:
- Ongoing consulting – Walking alongside a company or team to help them with ongoing positioning, marketing, project management, etc.
- Project launches – Helping to launch a specific project or phase of a project
- Sourcing – Finding the right contract talent for a project or helping to hire for technical or tech-related employee positions
Amazingly, we’ve already started working with several organizations. With one team, we’re helping them to refine their brand and existing digital products while working with them toward a brand new product to reach a new market. With another team, we’re simply helping to relaunch their website. And with another we’re walking them through an effective social media strategy to grow and strengthen their existing community.
